Corneal Topography / Orbscan
The Orbscan II is a highly precise instrument which independently provides corneal thickness, corneal power and elevation data of the central anterior and posterior corneal surfaces. The fully integrated diagnostic system acquires 9000 data points using slit-scanning optical technology. The Orbscan II provides the refractive surgeon with valuable information in detecting early corneal disease, such as keratoconus or corneal dystrophy that may not be evident on the anterior surface and therefore not detectable with standard corneal topographers. The Orbscan II also integrates with customized corneal ablations (Zyoptix™). It is the industry standard and the only topography system utilized by LASIK PROVISION.
