Dr. Usama Bebawy received his MD degree with honor from Ain Shams University in 1988, and then spent 3 years of residency training in Ophthalmology & ended by receiving his Masters degree in Ophthalmology.
He has worked as an assistant lecturer at the School of Medicine, Ain Shams University, & gave lectures and labs to students and ophthalmology residents.
Dr. Bebawy had further fellowship training in cataract and glaucoma management at Essen University in Germany, practiced as an ophthalmologist for 6 years managing & treating patients with cataract, glaucoma, uveitis, LASIK, retinal diseases & various other diseases of the eye.
He has spent 2 years in clinical fellowship at McMaster University doing comprehensive ophthalmology fellowship and joined Lasik provision as an optometrist in 2012.
